Certificate Course on International Social Work Practice (Feb 28 – Mar 10, 2025)
Prof. Roy convened an intensive certificate course titled “Gateway to India: Culture, Community & Social Change” in collaboration with Northern Michigan University (USA), Central University of Rajasthan, and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra. The program offered international exposure on community development and cross-cultural social work education.
Social Audit Training Programme (Feb 27 – Mar 4, 2024)
This hands-on training program focused on participatory governance, accountability, and transparency in development. Organized with Northern Michigan University, it trained participants in social audit methodology relevant to grassroots and institutional accountability.
National Workshop on Aesthetics and Integral Humanism (Oct 7, 2023)
This one-day workshop explored philosophical themes in the novels of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya. Held in collaboration with ILLL, it brought literary, social, and philosophical discourses into dialogue with Indian humanist thought.
International Literacy Week Competitions (Sep 2–8, 2023)
As part of International Literacy Week, Prof. Roy organized poster and video/reel competitions to promote creative engagement with literacy themes. The event was supported by ILLL and NCERT’s Cell for National Centre for Literacy.
Refresher Course on Indigenized Social Work and Social Sciences (Aug 22 – Sep 4, 2023)
Coordinated a UGC-approved refresher course focusing on ‘Indigenization and Emancipatory Approaches’. Conducted with CPDHE, it empowered faculty with innovative perspectives rooted in Indian socio-cultural contexts.
International Workshop on Antibiotics Abuse Using Biosensing Technologies (Aug 25–27, 2023)
This international conference addressed public health concerns around antibiotic misuse. Collaborating with ULSTER University and NanoLaticeX, the event emphasized biosensing technology and community-based monitoring strategies.
Faculty Development Programme (FDP) at SRCC (Aug 10–14, 2023)
The article documents the transformative experience of rural camps as a pedagogical tool in social work education. It discusses how field immersion fosters empathy, critical thinking, and social accountability. The camp is positioned as a bridge between theory and grassroots realities.
Workshop on E-book and Digital Archives for Librarians (Jul 6, 2023)
This “Training the Trainers” workshop, held with Delhi University Library, introduced librarians to digital resources and strategies for improving access to academic content across DU institutions.

Workshop on Mission Drug-Free Campus (Jun 15–16, 2023)
This two-day workshop, conducted with ARSD College and the Ministry of Home Affairs, raised awareness among youth about substance abuse and supported the vision of a drug-free academic environment.
Online Academic Writing Course for Students (Feb 6 – Mar 31, 2023)
An 8-week virtual course focused on developing research and writing skills among university students. Conducted by the Institute of Life Long Learning, it covered academic integrity, citation styles, and publishing strategies.
